every fall during tallinn fashion week,  the winner of the most prestigious fashion award, the golden needle, is announced. for the first time in history one of the three nominees for the golden needle award was a jewellery brand, new vintage by kriss (nvbyk).

as one of the nominees, nvbyk presented its new conceptual jewellery collection, becoming fierce, on a runway. the collection consists of commercial everyday pieces as well as limited edition showpieces. all the items in the collection are hand crafted  and tell a story of the head designer and owner kriss eglite’s journey of becoming fierce.

people also had a chance to vote for their favourite designer out of six nominees. nvbyk got the most votes and won the people’s choice award.
